First we maneuver through the busy bus depot to get to Jony’s shop. He sets us up with nylon, metal rings, adjustors, and any other raw material.
The nylon then gets passed on to Irma who either embroiders the designs from memory or hand sketches them first.

While the embroidery is under way we stop at the tannery for leather. Daniel schools
us in the art of fine leathers and helps pick out the best pieces.

Next a visit to Martin and Doris`s fabric shop. Besides supplying local tailors, they help us embroider our logo onto leather.
Julio`s shoe repair doubles as our strap assembly site, our last stop. Together with his wife Silvia, they hand cut the leather, glue, and sew all the pieces together.
